Meeting Highlights from the Clerk – 04/12/2023

Public Hearing – Unsafe Building / Structure 

The Town Board held open the public hearing to consider the removal and/or demolition of unsafe structure at 606 & 607 Cleveland Boulevard, Fayetteville NY. The public hearing is continued to the April 26^th Town Board meeting.

Public Assembly Permit

The Town Board approved the public assembly permit for CNY Land Trust to hold an event at 7213 Woodchuck Hill Road on Saturday August 12^th from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Proposed Local Law creating a Planned Unit Development ("PUD") – 2022-6

The Town Board held a public hearing and considered a proposed Local Law 2023-6 to Amend Chapter 155 of the Town Code and Establish a Planned Unit Development (“PUD”) Zoning District in Various Zoning Districts in the Town and Setting forth Rules and Regulations for Site Development. The Town Board tabled the matter for further review after revisions to the proposed law.

Neighborhood Sidewalk Program

The Town Board adopted a resolution creating and adopting the Neighborhood Sidewalk Program.

Board of Assessment Review 

The Town Board is now accepting applications for (2) new open positions on the Board of Assessment Review. Interested applicants can learn more about the positions and apply HERE.

Hydrant Installation

The Town Board approved the installation of 1 fire hydrant on North Burdick Street at an annual rate of $82.11.

Syracuse Signals Contract

The Town Board approved a 1-year contract with Syracuse Signals for on call service for traffic beacons at FM Highschool and ESM Schools on Kirkville Road.
