THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MANLIUS and THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF MINOA and THE EAST-SYRACUSE MINOA SCHOOL DISTRICT
A Proposal to Annex Territory from the Town of Manlius, New York to Village of Minoa, New York
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a petition for consent to municipal annexation, pursuant to General Municipal Law Article 17 (the “Petition”), has been received by the Town Board of the Town of Manlius, Onondaga County, New York (the “Town”), the Village Board of the Village of Minoa, Onondaga County, New York (the “Village”) and the East Syracuse-Minoa School District (the “District”) for the annexation of the following described territory situated in the Town to the Village (the “Proposed Annexation”): 3.79 acres of land located within tax map no. 054.-02-26..1 (the “Premises”). The Petition was proposed by the owner(s) of a majority of the total assessed valuation of the Premises as determined on the last tax roll.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN pursuant to General Municipal Law Article 17, that on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 6:35 o’clock in the evening, at the Municipal Building of the Town, located at 301 Brooklea Drive, Fayetteville, New York 13066, a joint meeting will be held by the aforesaid Municipalities’ Boards and District whereby the question of consent to said Proposed Annexation will be considered. At such time and place all persons receiving this Notice of Meeting may be heard. Objections, if any, shall, in addition to oral testimony thereon, be presented at said meeting. You may attend the public hearing in-person or virtually. If you would like to attend the public hearing virtually and provide comment, you may do so by following the instructions that will be provided on the town website at www.townofmanlius.org. The Town is also accepting written communications by email at aweber@townofmanlius.org and by regular USPS mail attention: Allison Weber, Manlius Town Clerk at 301 Brooklea Dr. Fayetteville NY 13066.
