Meeting Highlights from the Clerk – 12/7/2022

Local Law 2022-11 Repeal & Replace Chapter 59 of the Town Code

The Town Board adopted Local Law 2022-11 to Repeal & Replace Chapter 59 Of The Town Code. This local law was in response to a recommendation by New York State that municipalities adopt updated procedures for following the New York State Fire and Building Code

Public Hearings and Meeting Notices

The Town Board set the date for the following meetings and public hearings:

• The 2023 Organizational Meeting will be held on January 4th, 2023 at 6:30 PM
• A Joint Public Hearing with the Village of Minoa will be held on January 11th, 2023 at 6:35 PM to discuss the petition to annex two separate parcels to the Village of Minoa. 
• The Town Board set a date for a public hearing on December 21st at 6:35 PM to consider 2 local laws to increase the income limits for Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities for property tax exemptions. 
• The Town Board set a date for a work session on January 11th, 2023 at 5:00 PM to discuss the Engineering Request for Proposal and any other business matters as necessary. 
• Letter of Support – CNY Inland Port Connector Project 
• The Town Board adopted a resolution of support for the proposed new road would to be established, parallel to Interstate Route I-481 that would tie into a reconfigured Kirkville Road interchange with I-481/future I-81, diverting highway-bound trucks away from Fremont and Kirkville Roads.

Letter of Support – CNY Inland Port Connector Project 

The Town Board adopted a resolution of support for the proposed new road would to be established, parallel to Interstate Route I-481 that would tie into a reconfigured Kirkville Road interchange with I-481/future I-81, diverting highway-bound trucks away from Fremont and Kirkville Roads.
