Meeting Highlights from the Clerk – 07/12/2023
Public Hearing CANCELED - Zone Change Application - Turnwood Development -Garden Park Apartments - Highbridge Street ( Tax Map No. 093.-01-05.1) Commercial A (CA) To Residential (R5)
The applicant has withdrawn the application for a zone change. Residents are encouraged to sign up to receive agendas and minutes.
Comprehensive Plan
The public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan was closed. The Town Board stated that they expect to adopt the comprehensive plan at the next meeting.
Skyridge Water District Improvements & Skyridge Water District Extension #1
The Town Board held public hearings on the proposed improvements to the Skyridge Water District and the proposed extension of the Skyridge Water District that would include Clear Path for Veterans. Several residents made comments and asked questions about the proposed improvements and the extension, including representatives from Clear Path. The Town Board continued the public hearing until July 26th and requested that the Town Clerk publish notices of continuation of the public hearings in the newspapers.
Local Law – OCWA
The Town Board adopted Local Law 2023-9 to Amend Chapter 127 Of The Town Of Manlius Code (Subdivision) To Further Clarify That Each New Individual Subdivided Lot Within A Water District Shall Directly Tie Into Public Water Available To Such Lot as outlined in the resolution prepared by the Attorney for the Town.
Consolidating Funding Applications
The Town Board adopted two resolutions authorizing the submission of consolidated funding applications. The grants applications are:
• A grant to fund a zoning revision project for a sum of up to $100,000 with a 10% town match.
• A grant to fund a non-agricultural nonpoint source planning study for Limestone Creek at the unnamed tributary from Three Falls Woods for a sum of up to $50,000 with a 10% town match.
JustFoia - Foil Software Agreement
The Town Board authorized the purchase and implementation of Foil Management Software from JustFoia at an annual rate of $8,851.50 and authorized the use of ARPA funds for that purchase.
SPO Agreement
The Town Board tabled the approval of the agreement with the East Syracuse Minoa School District for a Special Patrol Officer for further amendments to the agreement.
