Open Podium 

Dave Barnwell asked questions about the grant that was received for the EV charging stations at Town Hall. 

Zone Change Request – N. Burdick Street 

Twin Shores Properties LLC made a presentation on the Zone Change request to change the zoning on parcels located on N. Burdick St. The Town Board asked questions of the applicant and heard comments from the public. The public hearing was held open until February 23rd.

Recreation Department 

The recreation department will be producing a summer musical this year after a two-year hiatus. The department presented the production contract for the board’s approval.

Highway Department

The Town Board approved the purchase of the replacement of the Salt Storage shed at the Highway Garage with Eagle Associates in the amount of $139,965.39 as previously budgeted for. 

Planning & Zoning

The Town Board and Code Enforcement Officer Poitras discussed the NYS Stretch Code. Mr. Poitras stated that he would like more time to review the code and get feedback from home builders before a formal presentation is made. 

Police Department 

The Town Board approved a contract for an additional Special Patrol Officer (SPO) in the East Syracuse Minoa School District and a contract to fill a open SPO position in the Fayetteville Manlius School District. 

Supervisor

The Town Board discussed the draft letter regarding the board’s position and request for traffic mitigation as it relates to the proposed 3Gi Inland Port. The Board members discussed their positions on the draft letter and will make additional revisions to the letter. The letter will be available to vote on at the next meeting.
