Open Podium
A resident from Dabney Rd. spoke about drainage issues he is having specific to his property. The Town Board discussed the matter and what the town is allowed to do as it relates to issues on private property. The Town Supervisor will be contacting the Association of Towns to request any information that AOT might have on assisting residents with private property drainage issues.
2022 Town Budget
The 2022 preliminary budget public hearing was closed and the Town Board adopted the attached amendments. The amendments outline the use of some of the ARPA funds. The final budget will be adopted on 11/17 and the tax rate announced.
Trash & Brush
The Town Board approved the contract with Syracuse Haulers for Trash and Brush Collection in the Town of Manlius.
Syracuse Haulers was the single bidder for the Trash and Brush Contract. The hauler has requested that the Town of Manlius move to an automated service to alleviate several issues including labor shortages. The bid submitted offered the same price for regular trash pickup and automated. The trash contract was approved for a period of 5 years and the automated cart service will begin in 6 to 8 months.

Syracuse Haulers and the Town will be sending information to residents when the change to automated trash service gets closer.
Deer Management
The Town Board approved the inter-municipal agreement with the Village of Fayetteville for the Deer Management Program.
