Accident Reports

The Records Section is the central depot for all police reports and records. Records personnel also assist with walk in complaints and phone calls.

Partnership with Crashdocs.org 

As a service to our residents and the business community, the Town of Manlius Police Department has partnered with Crashdocs to provide online access to all Town of Manlius Police Department vehicle accident reports. All vehicle accident reports should be available 96 hours after the vehicle accident occurs (or sooner if completed) with the exception of fatal vehicle accidents and accidents that are still under investigation. 

Requests 

Citizens may request a report using the Crashdocs website and will be charged a $5.00 fee for each report. Citizens may receive one, free copy of an accident report, in which they were involved, by going directly to the Town of Manlius Police Department for a walk-in public records request. 

All requests from businesses for Town of Manlius Police Department vehicle accident reports will be made using the Crashdocs website and will be charged a $15.00 fee for each report. The Town of Manlius will not provide vehicle accident reports to businesses unless a specific vehicle accident cannot be located on the Crashdocs website

Locating a Report 

To locate a report: 

  • Go to the Crashdocs website and fill in state and agency information. 
  • Click, Find a report. 
  • Enter requested information and click, search. 
  • Complete checkout process. 
  • Download report. 

Fees 

Citizens: $5.00 per accident report, citizens may respond to the Town of Manlius Police Department and complete a walk-in public records request to receive a free copy of an accident report, in which they were involved. 

Businesses: $15.00 per accident report.
