The Town of Manlius fiscal year runs from January 1 - December 31. The Town Budget must be adopted by November 20th.
There are multiple ways you can follow along and participate in the budget process. Public department budget meetings are held in September. The Supervisor's tentative budget is released by October 5th. After review and revision by the Town Board, the Preliminary Budget is released and a public hearing is held before November 15th. Under the United States American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021, the Town of Manlius was issued $2,026,660 in recovery funds to replace lost revenues and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Municipalities are required to file a report of its financial condition each year to the NYS Comptroller 120 days after its fiscal year end. These reports are called Annual Update Documents or Annual Financial Reports.
