Public Safety Advisory Committee

This committee was formed by the Town Board to address Governor Cuomo's executive order 203: New York State Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative. The executive order can be viewed at https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/no-203-new-york-state-police-reform-and-reinvention-collaborative.

This committee consists of two Town Board members and 12 community members from across the Town of Manlius. We will work together to gather community input identifying the services needed by our community, review of police procedures and practices and present a plan of recommendations to the Town Board for public comment before April 2021. 

Community Engagement

The Public Safety Advisory Committee wants to know what questions and ideas you have for our Police Department. The committee will not be directly answering these questions and comments, but will be reviewing these questions using them to guide their review and for future presentations.

Meetings
This committee will meet at least once a month until April 2021. Meetings will be held virtually on Zoom at 6:30pm until further notice.
