Important Dates
March 1st - Exemption Deadline
All applications for exemptions must be in the Assessor's Office by this date. If reaching the Assessor's Office after March 1st, applications will be processed for the next year's roll.

March 1st -Taxable Status Date
Assessments reflect the condition of the property as of March 1st.
May 1st -Tentative Assessment Roll
On this date, the tentative assessment roll is filed and ready for inspection by the property owners for correct address, assessment, exemptions, etc.
4th Tuesday in May - Grievance Day

July 1st - Final Assessment Roll
On this date, the final assessment roll is filed. For various information concerning assessment and related matters, consult the New York State Office of Real Property Tax Services.
